Calgary police charged a guy. He’s linked to storage locker thefts. Comic books worth a lot got stolen.

The first break-in happened December 23rd at Mayland Heights. A worker spotted him, police say, as he left with an electric scooter and three boxes of comics.

On December 26th, another place in Douglasdale got hit. The suspect used a scooter to enter and broke into a storage unit. Then, he drove away in a black Malibu, reportedly taking many tools.

Police searched a house last week on 50 Street SE, finding stolen bikes, comic books, and tools from DeWalt and Bosch.

Daniel St. Germain, aged 46, faces charges including breaking and entering and possessing stolen goods. Some goods are over $5,000, others under $5,000. He broke a sentence order, too.

His next court date is February 18th.
