A man is critically injured following a hit-and-run incident in Quebec City, prompting a police investigation into the driver.
Quebec City: A man is in critical condition after a serious collision late Saturday night. The police got a call about the accident around 1:32 a.m.
When they arrived at the intersection of Avenue de Gironde and Boulevard Jean-Talon Est, they found three people in a car. One of them, a man, was badly hurt. They had to use the jaws of life to get him out.
All three were rushed to the hospital, but sadly, the man’s condition is really concerning. It looks like a vehicle heading east on Jean-Talon Boulevard hit their car and then took off.
Police quickly started searching the area and found the suspect vehicle not too far away. They arrested a man in his forties for the hit-and-run that caused injuries.
They’ve set up two security perimeters: one at the accident site and another where they found the suspect’s car. Investigators and forensic teams are working hard to figure out exactly what happened.
