Montreal: Earlier this month, police arrested two suspects linked to a stabbing incident from last August. The first suspect, 25, was taken into custody on January 18, and the second, 24, was arrested a few days later on January 22.

Both of them showed up in court right after their arrests, facing some serious charges like attempted murder and aggravated assault. The incident happened on August 25, 2024, in Paix Park, where a victim ended up in the hospital with multiple knife wounds.

According to the police, the victim was with someone unknown when a fight broke out. The first suspect pushed the victim down and then the second suspect jumped in with a knife, causing several injuries.

Police have searched the suspects’ homes and found what they believe is evidence related to the case. For now, both suspects will stay in custody as the legal process moves forward.
