Police are looking into three separate armed assaults in Montreal and Montérégie, leaving two victims in critical condition
Montreal: Three men were attacked in armed assaults in Quebec recently. Two of them are in critical condition, which is really concerning.
It all started late Sunday night when police got a call about a 55-year-old man hurt near Saint-Jacques Street. He was found in bad shape and needed immediate help.
First responders tried to revive him before rushing him to the hospital. Reports say he was hit by something, but details are still unclear.
Then, just before midnight, another call came in about a man injured with a sharp object in Villeray. He was also in critical condition when taken to the hospital.
Police found two people at the scene and are talking to them to figure out what happened. They’re still investigating both incidents, but no arrests have been made yet.
Meanwhile, in Montérégie, a man in his 30s was shot in Saint-Polycarpe. The provincial police were called to the scene after the incident.
They found him on the ground with serious injuries, but thankfully, he stabilized after getting to the hospital. It’s a tough situation all around.
