Quebec is bracing for strong winds and heavy snow starting Monday afternoon, so stay prepared!
Quebec: Strong winds are on the way, hitting up to 80 kilometers per hour starting Monday afternoon. It’s going to be a wild ride!
Environment Canada has already put out special weather statements for both Ontario and Quebec. They’re warning about possible power outages, so it’s a good idea to secure anything outside that could get blown away.
Plus, there’s a snow squall watch for much of western and central Quebec. These squalls can come out of nowhere, bringing heavy snow and making it tough to see. Seriously, visibility could drop to almost nothing!
And just when you think it can’t get worse, temperatures are set to plummet on Tuesday as a cold front moves in. Bundle up, folks!
Environment Canada mentioned that these conditions, along with those strong northwesterly winds, will make it feel bitterly cold across many areas of Quebec.
There’s also a winter storm watch in effect for the James Bay area. They only issue these watches when multiple severe winter weather types are expected.
So, get ready for heavy snow, strong winds, and low visibility. Stay safe out there!
