Montreal: So, here’s the scoop. Three guys are in hot water for allegedly trying to smuggle people into the U.S. The RCMP says they were planning to help folks cross the border illegally.

The suspects are Edward Alejandro Rojas Sanchez, Julian Camilo Rojas Murcia, and Fernando Esparza Dominguez. They’re facing some serious charges, including conspiracy to commit an offense in the U.S.

Two of them are from Montreal, and one hails from Laval. The police got tipped off when a worker noticed some temporary employees just vanished without a word.

Turns out, these guys were allegedly helping those workers sneak across the border. They reportedly charged around $4,000 for each person they helped.

The investigation didn’t link them to any big crime syndicate, but it’s still a pretty wild situation. They’re set to appear in court on February 4 in Montreal.
