Two Quebec Motorists Die in Separate Overnight Accidents, One Arrested

Quebec: It was a tough night on the roads. Two separate accidents led to the deaths of two motorists. One of the drivers was arrested for impaired driving, which is just heartbreaking.

The first accident happened in St. Cliche. A driver lost control, and their vehicle flipped into the woods. Sadly, the driver was thrown from the car and died right there. A passenger was hurt but is expected to be okay.

Then, in a different incident on Highway 132 near L’Ile Verte, a truck collided with a car. The truck driver crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a young woman head-on. She was rushed to the hospital but didn’t make it.

The truck driver was also hurt but not seriously. He was arrested too, and it’s just a tragic situation all around. The police are still looking into what happened, and traffic was backed up for hours. It’s a tough reminder of how quickly things can change on the road.
